Position Announcement - Weekend Circulation Supervisor

Position #2469 Weekend Circulation Desk Supervisor (48.00 % FTE). The 
duties of this position include independently implementing the services, 
functions, and policies of the library circulation desk; operating the 
circulation module of the librarys INNOPAC Millennium automation system; 
supervising student workers; operating the photocopier and microform 
machines; and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate must 
possess the ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner; ability to 
formulate and communicate logical conclusions and/or recommendations; 
ability to negotiate and resolve disputes; as well as excellent 
communication skills. The work shift will typically be Fridays from 4:00pm 
to 7:00pm, Saturdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Sundays noon to 9:00pm, 
approximately 18 hours per week and hours will be based on the librarys 
needs and will vary during University vacation periods and summers. This 
position requires a High school diploma. Library experience and computer 
experience is preferred. Experience with INNOPAC library system functions 
and processes, supervisory skills and experience, and acquaintance with the 
University is desired. The hiring range for this position will be $9.39 per 
hour to $11.74 per hour, and is dependent upon qualifications and
