Kathy
I don't know if this will help you or not. I process periodicals for 5
separate locations in our main library plus 7 outside branches. We are
using the Millennium Serials Module but it works basically the same in Innopac.
I make a separate check-in record for each location. When making the
records you can put cover date, volume, number, expected arrival dates,
etc. You also have the option to print labels and make item
records. After a periodically has been checked in and barcoded the item
record in our data base looks like the following
     Location Volume Barcode
       emz 23 :5 May 2003 39201000000000
> rmz 23 :5 May 2003 39201000000001
       emz 23 :6 Jun 2003 39201000000010
       rmz 23 :6 Jun 2003 39201000000011
You can also sort them (which we do) by location so all of one location is
listed then all of the other location is listed
I know this probably doesn't make much since but if you have any questions
you can reach me at
