Hi all,
Some recent traffic on the list has raised questions about printing
customized receipts from Innopac and Millennium. Following is an extract
from an FAQ I posted May 1, with additions:
Q: Can I customize my checkout receipts?
A: Yes. Print Wizard can be set to include a logo and/or additional text
at
the top of each receipt. This is done by specifying a "print-init" file to
be used by Print Wizard.
A sample was shown at the show. The print-init file is as follows:

The GIF file mentioned can be any bitmap. Note that it is printed at the
full width of the paper in this case.
This can be done with
a) Innopac, using AnzioWin (our telnet client), doing "attached print".
AnzioWin's internal Print Wizard must be turned on.
b) Millennium, using the freestanding Print Wizard product running in
"listen" mode. Millennium sends data to it using the Workstation JetDirect
protocol.
The appropriate printer driver (not "Generic" must be used). The Print
Wizard logic will construct the page as long as needed for the amount of
text to be printed.
