receipt printing

I would appreciate any help in getting the receipt printing to work.

 

This is where I am:

 

I print title, barcode and due date for the due slips.

 

When I print the receipt, I only get the headings print one time, i.e.
on the first line:  title  barcode due date.

 

Then if I have a few books checked out, it will print the title,
followed by barcode and due date on a continuous wrap-around line.  

 

Is there anybody out there who has gotten the title to print on one
line, the barcode to print on another line, and due date to print on
another line?

 

According to the manual, if your receipt printer is 40 column wide, it
will automatically print on separate lines.  But it does not on my
receipt printer. Mine is TM-T88III.
