Wyse 50 monitor and Epson LQ570+ printer

We purchased a refurbished Wyse 50 monitor .. I swapped out the old one,
plugged in the cords the same way - but now I can't print to the
attached printer (Epson LQ570+). I made sure all the settings were the
same, and didn't change anything, and I've checked the connection
several times. It will print to a printer on the other side of the
library (it's supposed to be set up to print to either). When we choose
print, the screen scrolls down very slowly but there's no printing
happening.
 
Does anyone have suggestions as to what I may need to do or check in
order to get the printer and monitor working together again?
