Michael,
That is correct. I ran into the same problem last year and opened a help
desk ticket with Innovative. Nothing has been resolved so far. I turned
the hold feature off in the self checks as it was confusing and provided
useless information to the patron.

Subject: RE: Number of lists

We are testing a non 3M self check out unit and seeing a problem with the
option to display messages about a patron's holds. The problem is that the
patron receives a message about all holds and not just the ones that are
ready for pick up at that branch. So if I have 15 holds and none of
arrived, I still get a message that I have 15 holds and patrons assume some
are in. It appears only one number (total) is being sent as opposed to
separate totals (total and ready). Wanted to confirm this is what other
sites have found and whether or not you decided to enable the option to
display holds info.

Secondly if anyone had experience with self checks from Central Technology
Inc. out of Danville, Indiana.

Thanks
