Carol,

At what point are they "freezing?" When you start up? After several minutes 
of use/non-use? Completely at random?

Also, have you upgraded the Java Virtual Machine to 1.4.1? It is required to 
use the latest Millennium modules with MacOS X. This update was just 
released in the last week or so (I got it with my Software Update run on 
September 13). 

I am able to run Millennium on a vintage 400MHz PowerMac G4 Cube (with 
lots of RAM) over a DSL connection. It runs quite snappily (except for the 
initial download...hey, it's not a T1) and I can go through a couple of hours 
of activity and inactivity without problem. I loaded the JVM update before 
loading the Millennium environment.
