RE: call # indexes

We have 3 call number indexes: one for LC call numbers, one for locally
created call numbers and one for Superintendent of Documents call
numbers.  Because each type of call number is structured differently, we
found that call number searches produced strange browse screens when we
had everything together in one index.

Dear Innopac users,

We currently have two call # indexes, one for print and the other for 
audio-visual materials. So far, we haven't found any use of having two 
indexes, actually it's just one more thing to remember when cataloging 
and when searching by call #. But before we mix them up together, I 
wanted to ask others who use more than one index how it can be useful.
