Position:  Electronic Resources Librarian
		F. D. Bluford Library
		North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University
		Greensboro, NC

Responsibilities:  Reporting to the Systems Librarian, the electronic
resources librarian has responsibility for providing leadership and
expertise in the evaluation, selection, promotion and accessibility of a
wide range of electronic resources. The electronic resources librarian will
design, develop and maintain the library's web site, troubleshoot software
and provide instruction, training and continuing education in library
technology to staff and library users. Responsibilities also include
collection development in assigned subject areas and participation in the
night/weekend reference desk schedule.

Qualifications:  ALA-accredited MLS, or equivalent advanced degree in
information science or related field; five years of relevant professional
library experience; knowledge of emerging information technologies and their
application to library services; proficiency in the creation, presentation,
and storage of information in a Web-based environment; demonstrated
progressive experience with Web authoring, form creation, editing/site
management software, and usability testing. Excellent written, verbal, and
customer service skills.

Salary and Rank: Twelve-month appointment. Librarians have faculty status
and are expected to meet University requirements for promotion and tenure,
including teaching, research and service. Salary: Competitive.  Benefits:
