- Subject: Using other resources in failed search
Sorry if I can't translate this into inno-speak, because if I could I
could solve the problem...
In my previous OPAC I had the ability to use a small java script to
direct users to a website for our statewide resource sharing project
when their search of our catalog failed. This was pretty simple in my
old system because I could edit a file named failed_search.html.
So, the question is does anyone have any suggestions how to customize
the III OPAC so that when a search fails, the message that comes up
saying "your search would have been here" could refer the patron to an
outside or additional resource URL?
TIA
