We are in final migration from DRA Classic. My librarians love the product. Admin functions are pretty bad. We expected a web based system for everything and this did not live up to our expectations. The Opac is web based and the other interfaces and client/server. Admin is character based but they are making changes. We are hoping for more improvements. Phase III helped.

Get on top of the implementation process early. It is all done remotely so you never really see anyone except your trainer. This is disconcerting for us as we have implemented other systems and always had a vendor team on site. We have a project team here and keep everyone going forward. Question what you think is wrong or could be done better. Set up a project team for your site and align them with III's team. Have regular meetings. Also - review training agendas and request more time. Too much in too little time.

Feel free to contact me off list for more info.

Good luck
