We've found that you can just remove the Java 1.3 with add/remove
programs. When all else fails I've removed everything and started from
scratch. Our experience was spotty with clients hanging--some did and
some didn't with no apparent pattern. And, we had to go and clean up
some of our old NT4 workstations where the 2gig partition was full.
I've been waiting for something on the list to confirm I wasn't alone in
this. My own workstations hung Sunday afternoon right after the upgrade
so we were prepared to fix the problem on Tuesday.
