List Serv,

We installed Phase 3 last night.

We had the problem today which Bob Duncan outlined below, because I tried
to tidy up ! Uninstalling the old "Millennium" folder resulted in a message
of JAVA failure and caused us to have to Reinstall in some locations.

(3) If the new client is installed on a system with the old client still
installed, the "Add or Remove Programs" control panel will show two items
after the new client installation: "Innovative Millennium" and
"Millennium". If the latter is UNinstalled, the new client will not run and
installation must be repeated. (Users who are fond of tidying up and
associate the old shortcut icons with what they see in the control panel
should be forewarned.)

We also had a problem because of the new requirement of clearing out
invoices and payment history files. We have 15 accounting units. A week ago
I ran the first part of the conversion up to the point of checking the
invoices. It reported that Acocounting Unit 1 had some unpaid invoices.
Then it asked the next question regarding do you want to proceed. Then I
went in yesterday and it told me that Accounting Unit 3 had unpaid invoices
and Accounting Unit 5 had to clear the payment history. We did this. Then I
went back in and it reported that Accounting Unit 6 and Accounting unit 8
had a problem. Do you get my drift here ? The upgrade did not include
information about ALL problems with the various units at the same time.
With the great help of III we cleared them all out before the conversion,
but we had to scramble. The point is that within the upgrade, if you have
multiple units, you may not get complete information at any one time. It
turns out that these unpaid invoices went back to our initial training in 1995.
