- Subject: WAM Problems with Adelphia Cable modems
Has anybody noticed any access problems through WAN to electronic
databases using cable modems. On Saturday, our remote users using
Adelphia cable modems were denied access. Our remote logon menu did not
appear, but the vendor' did. I have called Adelphia and they said they had
blocked ports due to the recent virus attacks. They ask our users to call
Adelphia so they can help them track what's going on and to help resolve
the problem.
Is anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?
