Hi all,
Point Loma Nazarene University uses the CARS database for registration information. We have no trouble importing the patron information from CARS into our library system but it takes some time and our IT department has asked me to pursue the idea of automating all or part of the process.
III customer support tells me that some of you have created scripts that automatically perform the patron file transfer and load process, assuming we have generated patron record files using our Student Information System. Would anyone be willing to describe for me what you have done?
