Hi Grace

I don't know ACQ.PL, but for run a perl script in windows you need to do
something like

C:\Perl\bin\perl.exe ACQ.PL (in a DOS window)

Or you need to configure your Web server in order to run the script from a
web page.

BTW, where I can download that script?

Regards

Asunto: Acquisitions List - Perl script question

Hello:

We had successfully set up and created new acquisition booklists
using the ACQ.PL script in Windows 98. We have moved up to Windows
XP. I've installed ActivePerl, but when I click on the script, it
only opens it in Notepad? Has anyone encountered this problem? Do I
need to run the Windows installer? The program notes for NT seem to
indicate that it doesn't need to be run, but I thought I'd ask here.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Sincerely,
