The Information Technology Interest Group of the New England Chapter of
ACRL (ACRL/NEC ITIG)


Is presenting a program:
XML Databases: Is MARC dead? What role does XML databases play in the
library?

The program will look at XML and how it is used as a database for
library applications. August 21, 2003 9:30 am - 12:30 pm Healey Library,
Room 15 (4th floor), University of Massachuesetts Boston, Boston, MA

Presenters:

Barbara Herzog, Innovate Interfaces, Inc.

This is informal program that is free with no need to register (but an
email with your intentions will help).The ITIG programs are for
fostering discussion and awareness of technology trends in the library.
