- Subject: OPACMSG field display
I am in the process of convincing staff to standardize the way we handle
new books by implementing the OPACMSG field. I've seen how this looks on
several WebOPACs and staff think this is fine.
However, we are still heavily reliant on telnet and dumb terminals for
our in-house patrons and staff since we have not moved to Millennium.
Does someone out there use the OPACMSG field and has a telnet version of
their OPAC still available for us to take a look at? If so, please send
me the telnet address and one or two titles that make use of the OPACMSG
field.
