At Chapman Law Library, we sue the message box.  The primary use that we put it to is for titles that do not process the same as other titles in that class.  An example of that might be a volume that gets sent to archives instead of discarded.

	We are considering asking III to turn on the Checkin Record Message Box, an enhancement in Rel. 2002, Ph 2, I think.  We were thinking of putting processing information in the message box.  I'd be interested in hearing from anyone (offlist) who is currently using the message box, how you're using it and any observations you might have on how it's working for you.
