Did you *uncheck* the "Use default CatME keymap if terminal key definition not found"?
If that box is checked, then (for example) if you did *not* define ^D in your "Innovative" keymap, CatME would go to the default CatME keymap and use the ^D definition there (which is the subfield delimiter, unrecognized by the Innovative screen editor).
Therefore, for all practical purposes, you should always uncheck that box for terminal sessions.
If you've already done that and the behavior still continues, then I'm stumped. All I can say (and I'm sure you've heard it or even said it yourself) is, "It works fine for me!"
