Actually, if you tell Innovative the pattern you are using for your
barcodes, they can set that up in your system and then you don't need to
use the b unless your bacode differs from that pattern. Our item
barcodes all start with 3GAOL, but our patrons are all 6 digits,
starting with 26. (yes, I know that's weird, but we're a federal
government agency. What did you expect?)
