We have been using MilMedia of over a year. Most of the media
records have PDF's only a few have images attached. The images are mostly
scans of slides. As long as the you have the image in the supported
formats we have not had any problems.
That said, I will admit that I have not "played" around with images in
Photoshop. I will try that in the morning and ley you know what happens.
