You cannot change the status field on a batch of order records using
Global Update or Rapid Update for a reason - because changing order
status could affect encumbrance.  Whatever method you use to change
order status it is important to post payfiles afterwards so encumbrances
could be adjusted.

It is possible to change certain order status on a batch of records,
e.g. status "d" to "c" for serials orders.  See user manual # 102959.
