1. We produce a monthly new acquisitions list.
2. We track 'suspended' publications for publisher contact to make sure the publication has not actually terminated.
3. We produce an annual report of serials activity, including title changes, cancelled titles, no longer published, one-time orders, etc.
4. Maintaining a problem claims list.
5. Maintaining lists of materials procured under various grants.
6. Of course, everyone's favorite, maintaining the database.

Subject: Benefits of Create List?

I'm interested in knowing how various types of librarians (eg.
collection development, catalogers, etc.) utilize the create list
function in their work.
I am in the process of preparing a regional conference presentation and
would like to be able to offer a variety of examples as to how create
list may be used to assist in job related tasks. Any examples will be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Nicole
