I suspect your students need to do a keyword search. Performers, editors, etc.,should be indexed as added entries. If a person doesn't fit within the parameters of authorship (see AACR2) then an "author" search probably won't find them. My experience with students tells me they're pretty wedded to keyword searching, anyway. Best of luck,

We have just found out that 100-111 Marc tags go into the Author search.  We ant to separate performers, actors, editors, etc. so our patrons can look for what they would recognize but have it execute an Author search.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?
