Here at Cline Library we had the LPATRON & LCHKIN circulation option
set to {quot}yes{quot} since we started using our Innovative system a
decade ago. Until earlier this month, that is. July 1st, 2003 we changed
this option setting to {quot}no.{quot} Subsequent to this change, I
deleted all the LPATRON & LCHKIN information already stored in item
records.
Although there are instances when staff wish this information were still
available, our library decided that the personal privacy of our patrons
was more important.

the
LPATRON field is a common practice among Innovative libraries, that

are other libraries setting the check-in option to {quot}yes{quot} and
retaining
the patron information in item records? Thank you.
