I experienced the same problem. Everybody else is fine except me and one acquisition staff. I ended up cleaning all traces of JRE, including the registry key and then reinstalled JRE. It seemed to work fine for now. We are on beta, so it might or might apply to you.

Subject: Milcat freezes
We're having an issue with MilCat freezing on one computer and one user. The computer is a new PIV, XP pro, 256mb RAM. The system is at a remote site, she's on 100mbs Ethernet to a router, and the site is connected via a T1. The user is our head of tech services and she does only cataloging. She has no more than three applications open: Outlook, OCLC and MilCat. She reports that when she searches for a record, and closes her work that the MilCat buttons on the top of the screen disappear and the software freezes. She reports that the screen also will freeze when switching between search and create lists. I remember some suggestions for using 500mb of RAM, but this seems excessive. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
