For the character-based (telnet) side of this issue, note that Anzio
(telnet client) has some features specifically for this:
1. You can disable the quit option (including the X box), so the user is
forced to exit from the host end, which should then cause Anzio to quit.
2. You can configure Anzio to allow only one instance of itself to run on
a PC at a time.
