- Subject: milacq on NT, and the Privacy.exe dialog box
We have been a text-based site since 1996. MilAcq is our first
(and so far only) Millennium module.
Most of our machines are NT 4.0, only a few are XP. The way the
City ITT guys have our machines secured, on NT boxes there are
two functions in MilAcq which trigger their security policy's
Privacy.exe dialog box and ask us for a password (which ITT will
never give us). The two functions are change to public view, and
access the user manual.
Not understanding much about Millennium, I can't imagine why
these two functions and no other triggers the security, nor what
to tell ITT we want them to do about it.
Has anyone else run into this before? Do you ave suggestions? We
have to be able to access the user manual, and need a solution.
Thank you,
Miriam Bobkoff mkbobkoff@xxxxxxxxxx
