- Subject: RE: Search Scoping
Hi Bravismore,
We have eight libraries participating in our shared system. We made a scope
for each library and then one for children's materials. I named the scopes
with short abbreviations of each library's name and the children's scope was
named KIDS. This allows a patron in one library to limit their search to
that particular library's resources without have to weed through everyone
elses.
Hope this helps,
Glenda

Subject: Search Scoping
Can anyone out there shade more light of what search scoping means.
We are about to have installation of 9 scopes on our system and do not know
what to submit as scope names and definitions.
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards
/Bravismore
