Would you please expand on the types of trouble you had with uniform titles
in the t tag group?
Thank you,

Subject: RE: Global update for III tag group?
We did something similar recently when we found that having a 240 in field
group t caused some problems, so we changed 240 t to 240 u. This only works
for the records currently in your database. If you want future newly-loaded
records to have the new field code, you have to get Innovative to tweak your
load table.
I created a list of all records that have 240s, then went into global
update. In the command section, I told it to change t 240 to u. The
preview tab will show if it is doing what you want. This is in Millennium,
of course. I haven't used character-based GU in quite a while.

Subject: Global update for III tag group?
Can global update be used to change a marc field from one Innopac field
group to another? For example, can I change all the 099 _0 fields in a
group of records from the "Call number" tag to a "Marc" tag? How would I go
about doing this?
Thanks in advance.
