- Subject: OCLC eBook Marc records.
I need to talk to a Texas III site who has loaded the Marc records for the TexShare eBooks from OCLC.
I am having problems getting the records to load on my server.
I have followed the instructions from OCLC to download the file from them using a browser session to get it to a server here at my site. I then FTP it from that server to III. I have made double sure that the file transfer mode is BIN when I transfer into III.
III says something in the transfer is corrupting the data and to get it by direct FTP from OCLC. OCLC says the file is not available for direct FTP.
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.
