Hello! We are interested in anyone currently using MetaFind and WebBridge. We have purchased both products, but have not yet implemented them in part due to issues with providing internet access from out OPAC workstations and would like to hear of others experiences with them. Kind regards, Eeva

As you probably know Serials Solutions offer a range of services and
products and I wonder what product you have in mind. I understand
they have a new product called "Central Search" which sounds similar
to MetaFind. Is this what you have in mind?

We have MetaFind and also subscribe to Serials Solutions for receiving
e-journal holdings data to load to WebBridge. BTW, Serials Solutions
also have a product called "Article Linker" which is an OpenURL resolver
like WebBridge.

Whether you continue to use Serials Solutions after implementing MetaFind
(and WebBridge) depends on which part of Serials Solutions's services you
are using. I believe Article Linker is relatively new and Central Search
may not even be released yet, so I doubt if anyone is in the position to
"replace" them with Innovative's MAP products.
