We are currently moving from Dynix to Millennium, and trying to reproduce as
closely as possible our loan allocations for various categories of user.
Dynix allowed us to create many item types, and to set a limit for how many
of each a user could borrow within their total allocation. Millennium allows
us to set a limit (via the ABCD options in the patron block table) for only
four different item types.

So our current limits for, say, a part-time undergraduate (see below) are
not achievable

8 semester-loan items
4 week-loan items
2 24-hour or 3- hour loan books
2 24-hour or 3-hour loan photocopies
5 journal articles
2 part-time students only books
1 wireless network card
2 software CDs

Overall total 26 items

Is anyone either: a) aware of a way around a similar situation; or b)
prepared to explain why it doesn't matter?

Many thanks
