Amanda,

Not sure about Milser's holdings editor, nor am I an Excel expert, but:

can you get to that same info via create list? If so, you can export from
create list, either by listing out, or using the U>Output command. (we tend
to use character-based create list for this.) The U>Output method allows
you to specify Tabs as field delimiters, assuming you want to output more
than one field per record. Such an output file can then be opened in a text
editor and the info. can be pasted into Excel. Excel will respect the tabs
and put info. into separate columns.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's an even more direct route into Excel, but
the above will work fairly well. We've used it to update Serials Solutions
and OCLC Union List holdings.

Subject: Export to Excel- Holdings Info

Hello,

We have been using the holdings editor in Millennium Serials to
update and manage our holdings information. Does anyone know if there is a
way to export that holdings information from the editor into an Excel file?

Thanks,
Amanda
