Pam:

I have just finished creating the scat table for our law library using
LC law schedules as the guideline. It is currently under review by the
Public Services staff in order to check whether it is too specific, or
not specific enough. It is intended to reflect our collection
development policies and help us with new acquisitions and weeding. It
takes quite a bit of time to set up and I ran several test files before
I was satisfied with the results, but it really allows you to look at
your collection more critically. Our University library has its own
table, which, as you can imagine, is somewhat different from ours.
If you wish, give me a call.
