- Subject: RE: Extracting Bib Data from INNOPAC for Use with 3rd-Party Database
Hi, Tony:
You export the bib data in delimited form and then import them into the database management program of your choice. For MS Access, it is pretty simple. There is an import. For MySql, you have to write a routine to loop through the whole file to get it into a table.
I noticed that in Phase 3, when you have a list of records to export, you can export the records right to your harddrive by clicking on the export records tab. Isn't that nice?

Subject: Extracting Bib Data from INNOPAC for Use with 3rd-Party Database
Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with extracting some set of
bibliographic data from III's INNOPAC for use in a 3rd-party database
(FileMaker, MySQL, Access)?
We would like to use this data in a 3rd-party database, plus ColdFusion,
to generate 'somewhat' dynamic New Book lists on our webpage.
Thanks,
Tony Booth
