III currently controls the language limit table. Contact the Help Desk
to have languages added to the limit.
Rel. 2002, Phase 3 will offer "Advanced System Administration"
functions to those who have taken III's special ASA training seminar.
ASA will allow the library to locally control the limit tables, as well
as many other system settings, display labels, etc. An ASA seminar was
held prior to the IUG meeting in April and I believe will be repeated
sometime in July. You should probably contact the Sales Office for
information on registering for the ASA seminar.

Subject: language searching
Does anyone know of a way of searching for items in a particular
language, when the language is not one of the "popular" ones in
the drop down lists ?
In the telnet catalogue, we have the option of "other languages"
which then spells out the hundreds of other ones, but I can't find
an equivalent way of doing this in web opac.
I have already created a list but would like to implement a way
for the public to search.
regards
Susan
