webopac brief display

To those who have customized their briefcit.html for brief record display:

 

Has the length limit of 66 characters been extended? 

 

Is there a way to have the brief record display as the default for all searches, i.e. author, title, subject...?

How do you do that?

 

At my experimental site, only the superkeyword search has the brief record display. I would like all searches display that way.
