We use Metrologic MS9500 series Voyager scanners, which work very well and have been very dependable. We have experimented with Metrologic MS7120 Orbit "omnidirectional" scanners -- more expensive but very easy to use. These are great if you need "hands-free" scanners. All of Metrologic's scanners are easily configurable and programmable, using a series of barcodes which are provided.

We are just starting our implementation of Millennium. We are using 
Intermec barcode equipment which is old. I am looking for ideas on 
what other libraries are using and what works well. I am looking to 
either upgrade the old equipment or replace it.
