Millennium preferences - font question

Good morning-

We've just finished our upgrade to Release 2 with no problems (yay!) and I'm finally getting to some of the little bitty things like setting preferences in Millennium.
The "Metal" theme choice that allows you to set the font works ok, but many users can't get a color scheme they're happy with and so choose the "Windows" theme. Unfortunately, that greys out the font setting and defaults to (I think) Arial 12. Some folks like that color scheme, but want the font bold. Any idea if the "Windows" theme has anything do do with the actual theme chosen in the Windows display options and if changing anything there will fix this?
Hopefully, a monochrome display or more control over the colors using the "Metal" theme will be available....
