We let the blind references report do its job. When we weed bib records with unique headings for which we have authority records in our database, those authority records are immediately added to the blind references report. We then work through that report, deleting those authority records from our catalog. At this point, we handle our reports twice a week. If we had
a huge weeding project, we could do it more often, even daily.
