This has happened to me before and I needed to call the Help Desk to resolve
the problem.

Subject: restarting a root

All,

As I was verifying a daily backup, the network got a little shaky and I lost
my
connection. Now I can't get the tape drive to respond.

In "Restart a terminal" I see the following process:
root 28306 ttyq5 Backup database

Is it safe to restart this? The "root" is making me edgy. I am not looking
at the
process list in full mode.

Thanks.
