Inspired by various programs at the IUG, we are working on a briefcit.html
page as part of our catalog redesign, which will include a contract with
Syndetics for cover images. I think I know the answer to this question,
but I'll ask it anyway-- is there a way to use the smaller cover image
size on the briefcit page, and larger ones on the bib/item screen? We
have been working with the medium images on our training system, and like
them on the bib/item screen, but they are way too large for the brief
citations.

Also, we've currently set up our test page to display availability
information. With this on, we get a list of locations that currently have
available copies, using, I assume, the same logic as holds processing
uses. That means that locations with checked out, missing or library use
only copies are not listed. We're just starting to discuss this, but I'm
wondering if anyone with more experience with this, especially in a
consortium, has had problems with this. Do you think library users
understand the difference between "owned by" and "available"? If someone
is looking up reference books and they say "No available copies," will
they understand that there are copies that are available, just not
checkoutable?
