- Subject: Proxy rewrite, consortium and OCLC database
We have problem to setup proxy rewrite for OCLC database. As you know, OCLC
Firstsearch database can use proxy rewrite to let remote users login, but it
only let one time usage for each IP. This is DEFAULT AUTHORIZATION for
IP_ADDRESS RECOGNITION. To setup proxy rewrite for a library consortium,
other libraries with different authorization number need to include their
authorization number in URL. But if we change the URL as required,
in-library use with the same link will be blocked. Do we need to move all IP
in one group?
Just wonder how your library solve this problem.
Thanks
