We have successfully done this for the past year. It has generated some very useful information. We current use III recommended portable scanner for some of the items and use the menu option in the character based system for others. The latter is very fast and efficient. We have computers in the reshelving areas and scan the barcodes directly into the database.

Subject: count in-library use
Hello;
Can I learn how many of you use 'count in-library use' option and have
you ever tried another barcode to do this except innopac's barcode
reader(B320,B321) ?
Many Thanks
