Laurie,

We had terrible problems as well, but tests did show that it was the speed 
of our local network in the library.  I got faster response from Millennium 
remotely via DSL than in the library.  Other locations on campus also got 
more speed.  We were able to move to 100 base T and that did solve the 
problem for us.
