- Subject: Re: Scope question: one server, several campuses
Hello -
At C/W MARS in Massachusetts, we have two shared Innovative
servers that are scoped for our member libraries - based on
location codes. Libraries may have one scope that includes their
entire collection or the entire collection scope and a children's
scope. Both servers have a combination of both academic libraries
and public libraries.
The Central Massachusetts server has 67 scopes and the Western
Massachusetts server has 71. And, we recently added an INN-
Reach server that sits between the two other servers. We used to
have only one server with over 100 scopes.
I'm not sure what the goal of your survey is, but if I can assist in
any way, please let me know.
