We've just been using old dot-matrix printers for our receipts. Set up as a plain text printer in Windows and III. Works great, doesn't use a whole sheet of paper like a laser, and we have bunches of them around from our old system. One finally dies, just pull another out of the closet. Cheaper to run than a dedicated receipt printer, too. No special paper, and the ribbons last a long time.
My .02 :-)

We would like to implement a receipt printer at our law library and would like to know which receipt printers are most affordable and work best. This printer is for the Millennium Module.

Thank You,
