There are two issues here:
1- The sound clip must be in au format. If it is in Wav format, you can use Wav2Au converter. To download free audio clips, you can go to:
http://www.freeaudioclips.com/

2- If you are running in Release 2002 phase 2, you will NOT be able to use sound customization, as it is a know issue will be fixed at future time according to III.
